Maser Family

This will be kind of a short post. The Maser family was going to have everyone home for their daughter's wedding at the end of June and wanted to know if I could do a family photo. So in the middle of the rehearsal dinner, we got the whole group together (all 28 of them!) and did a family photo. We started with grandma and grandpa and all the grandkids and then moved on to the whole family. They wanted to do some funny ones at the end. So I just gave you a quick look at the family acting silly!

Jim & Krystal ~ 6.11.11

Jim and Krystal got married on what turned out to be a beautiful evening. The morning started cold and windy, but by wedding time the sun was shining. The wedding was at her grandparents home. It was an amazing setting for a wedding. There were all kinds of great places for pictures. Here are a few of my favorites!

My first day of summer vacation!!

This is more of a personal post. Since switching jobs I now have some summer vacation!! So what do you do on your first day off, well take advantage of some beautiful evening light of course :) It started with a few shots of Norah since she started sitting practically overnight. I thought I should document that. Then of course I couldn't leave out the goofy boys. They had all kinds of silly things to show me, but here are just a couple fun ones. I sure hope that Norah is teething and doesn't just enjoy the taste of a dirty swing. It was her first time outside in the swing. She really liked it. Now I just have to convince Everett and Grady that she isn't quite the thrill seeker that they are. They wanted to push her "higher"!

Happy Father's Day!

I thought I would share my Father's Day gift to Shawn from the kids and I. It was going to be a total surprise, but not everything in my plan quite worked out. So last Sunday we just showed up at his baseball game in our Knights gear and here is the final product. If you click on an image, you can see them a little bigger.

Norah Joy ~ 6 months

I had been planning this shoot for a while. I went shopping just for some new outfits and had it all planned out. But my dearest Norah had other ideas. She was cranky all morning and so we had to postpone the session. I ended up stopping mid dishes when she woke from her nap so that I would have a happy baby! She did pretty well, but certainly let me know when she was done with me :) I had a hard time choosing my favorites so here are lots of them!
