Blake, Britney, & Brooke

Blake and Britney are good friends of our who recently got engaged. So I was honored when Blake asked if I would do pictures of them. You'll be seeing them a few more times on this blog over the next few months. This session was a gift for Blake and Brooke's parents for Christmas. So there are some of Blake and Britney, some of Blake and Brooke and some of all three. Confused yet? Just kidding.

Corrina - Dress-up Day!

I almost forgot to post these images. We did this dress-up session with my niece as a Christmas gift for Grandma. I couldn't wait to post them at the time, but I couldn't ruin the surprise. This was one of my most fun sessions since there was no rules. We just let Corrina lead the way. We gave her things she could put on and just let her go. Isn't she adorable! The final gift was a collection of these with the caption "Grandma's are antique little girls".

Connor

Another baby!! This handsome little man belongs to a friend of mine. He didn't really want to cooperate with me that day. He preferred his mommy holding him. I guess I can't blame him for that :) Here are some of my favorites:

Lauren & Jaxon

Miss Lauren has been on here before, but this time, she has a new brother Jaxon. Here are a few shots of them when Jaxon was about 5 weeks old. Mom was even in some.

Dan & Angie

This lovely couple is expecting their first baby in late March. When Angie (my husband's cousin) asked if I would take some pictures of them I was very excited. I haven't gotten to do maternity photos before. So here are some of my favorites.

Happy New Year!

I want to start by wishing everyone the best in 2010 and including a photo of my family on Christmas. It appears I have been neglecting my blog lately. But that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. I did take a bit of a break during December to spend time with my family and friends. I also managed to get in a few photo sessions.

I am really looking forward to 2010 and all that it has in store for Karissa Ausmus Photography. You may have noticed my new logo. I have been working with Andrea Kaye Studios to create a logo and website. She has done an amazing job so far and I can't wait to see the rest. The website will be karissaausmus.com. It is on the web already. Keep checking back for progress.
