Claire ~ 1 year

Adorable little Claire was just a newborn the last time I took her pictures. Now she is a whole year old already. We started outside at her house with a few pics with mom and dad. She was full of smiles and fun! Then we headed back inside (it wasn't one of those 70 degree days) for some pretty dresses and tutus! I have to say I LOVE tutus on little girls! One of the dresses she is wearing is the dress her grandma made for her mom when she was one. So to add to the heirloom photo, we put Claire in her great grandpa's trunk. How cool is that! And what 1 year session is complete without some cake eating pics. Claire wasn't sure what to do right away, but she got the hang of it. I think it was good practice for her party the next day. Here are a few of my favorites...

Makynlee Linnae

This precious little girl was only 9 days old when I got to meet here. I go to yoga with her mom and had asked if she could be a newborn model for me so that I could try some new things. Makynlee was a fantastic model. She just kept sleeping even though I was moving her and adjusting her over and over. I'm pretty proud of the head in hands shot. That is my first successful attempt! Her mama also teaches piano lessons so we tried to incorporate that into a couple images with big brother James. She even smiled for a couple of the shots. So sweet! Here are just a few of my favorites...

Annabelle & Jaiden

Annabelle and Jaiden's session took place on Annabelle's golden 3rd birthday! How exciting. She woke to her room full of balloons that day. So of course we had to use the balloons in some of the pics. Annabelle was so excited, silly and fun to take pictures of that day. Some of her expressions were priceless. Following Annabelle was baby brother Jaiden. He took a little while to warm up to me, but we got some wonderful baby smiles. I think daddy is looking forward to the day that he and Jaiden can toss that football around. But for now it makes a great prop! Here are some of my picks from their session.

Amanda ~ Maternity

This session began as a quick maternity yoga picture. The plan was to do a yoga pose while waiting for baby to arrive and then another of the same pose when baby arrives. By the way, doesn't she look amazing! But who could stop just there...I had to do a few more belly pics. Its funny how much more adorable pregnant bellies are when it's not me :) So here are a few of my other favorites. Coming soon will be some newborn pics of baby Monson...and when she can hold her head up, I'll share the completed yoga project.
