Norah Joy ~ 6 months
I had been planning this shoot for a while. I went shopping just for some new outfits and had it all planned out. But my dearest Norah had other ideas. She was cranky all morning and so we had to postpone the session. I ended up stopping mid dishes when she woke from her nap so that I would have a happy baby! She did pretty well, but certainly let me know when she was done with me :) I had a hard time choosing my favorites so here are lots of them!

Luke & Katie
This lovely couple is definitely not superstitious! They were married on Friday, May 13. While it was a chilly day for May, at least it wasn't raining. We were able to use the railroad tracks right behind the church for some fun photos. Here are just a few of my favorites. Congratulations Katie and Luke!

Grady ~ 3 Years
So I'm just a little behind...Grady turned 3 in March. It has been so busy since then that I hadn't taken any new pictures of him. Well even though the weather didn't totally cooperate, I was able to finally do a session with him. It was pretty cold for the outside ones, but with enough bribery (AKA fruit snacks) he was more than willing to work with me. For any non-PBS kids watchers, he's dressed as Super Why in a couple of them. Super Why is his current favorite super hero that has "the power to read"! Here are just a few of my favorites! And I could have removed the scrape on his face, but then it wouldn't look like the real Grady!

Monson Family
I headed out to St. Croix State Park to meet with this lovely family. I'll have to pay more attention for next year. We planned this session for the day after day light savings time ended and got started a little too late. Although we were racing sunset just a little, we got some great images. Here are my top picks.
Groskreutz Family
I have to start these next two posts with an apology too. These were the last sessions I did before Norah was born. I guess in all excitement (or chaos) I forgot to post their images. This first session is a little different that most of what I do. We did a formal family portrait session. I love how the colors pop from the black and white backgrounds.
