50th Anniversary!

This family was at the casino in Hinckley celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary! When I received the call that they would like some photos to remember the day I was more than happy to be a part of their celebration. Here are a few of the group that gathered and the lovely couple. Congratulations!!

Jake & Ally

I met these adorable twins at the grandparents house. Grandma's gardens made it so easy to get some great shots! We ended the session by playing in some leaves. I think that may have been their favorite part. Enjoy!

Cabak Family

We had this session set up for September, but little Ethan was feeling the best. So we rescheduled for October and ended up with a beautiful day! We did some group shots with both of the extended families and Hieu had scoped some fabulous spots for us. Here are a few of my favorites.

Johnsen Family

When I was setting this session up, Melissa said she wanted to do them at her parents because he mom had really nice gardens. When I pulled in the yard, I was speechless at the gardens. They were incredible. There were so many great locations, it was hard to choose where to shoot. Since the sun was still high at least that helped me narrow them down. We did some family, grandparent, cousins, the whole mix. We ended the session inside since we had a birthday girl involved!!

Amanda, Abby, Bryan, Blake & Ava

I figured if this baby is bound and determined to stay put, I'll get caught up on some blogging. I met up with this group of cousins one cool Saturday morning in October. We actually ended up doing these in mine and my neighbors back yards. Here are a few favorites.

Wilson Family

Ok, so that probably isn't the best title for this post since they aren't all Wilson's, but they organized the session so I'm giving them the credit :) Anyway, we met on another beautiful fall afternoon. We started inside for a quick formal portrait and then headed out into the gorgeous fall colors. I love the clothes they chose for the outdoor portraits. It looked fantastic with the leaves and afternoon sun.

Cavers Family

Finally I am getting some more sessions posted. It's been too long, I know :) This session is from the end of September. I wasn't too sure we were even going to have a chance to shoot this day. It was cold, windy and sometimes rainy. But we gave it a shot anyway and you would never guess that weather was bad at all. Here are a few of my favorites.
